skewll starts this Mondayy. so i've been reviewing the school handbook, checking out uniform policies - cuz, hell yea, i go to a private Catholic skewll

what really strikes me as odd, and downright stupid, is that we aren't allowed to wear ankle socks. we have to wear crew socks -atleast two inches above our ankles- or knee highs. what's so damn horrifying about showing a bit of ankle?

my stepmother, the freeking vice principal of my schoolll, responded like this when i asked her whyy the rule exists -
"Honey, I don't know, it's been this way for years - there's no changing it and there isn't any reason to."
...?!

So students that attend the skewll completely hating the rule, continuing to wear ankle socks, and getting fifteen minute detention for uniform infractions is no reason, no reason WHATSOEVER, to change this? she can't tell me why the rule is still here in the first place.

i don't know. whyy has no one even attempted a protest of some sort to bring this down? a petition of some sort? so i've thought, maybe i will. the stepdaughter of the v.p., denying a school rule. scandalous, eh?

but, not now - later in the year... school hasn't even started yet and i'm considering rebellion! hmph.

*also found it somewhat strange that theyy didn't seyy in the handbook, no facial piercings of any kind - the only piercing theyy denied was to have a double piercing in your ear xD wow, yey for me!*
i'm aware that i have no deviations or friends here on dA, so whyy would anyone read this? i dunno. wanted to see if i'd get opinions.
